RCMP said a man was seriously hurt after he was struck by a vehicle in Gruthal on the long weekend.
St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP said they were sent to the scene of a collision between a 2000 Dodge Caravan and a bicycle at about 1 p.m on Canada Day. The cyclist, a 21-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious, undetermined injuries. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was flown via STARS air ambulance to Winnipeg, where he remains in hospital.
RCMP are investigating, and the 50-year-old driver may face charges, they said.
