The province announced Wednesday they are building two new personal care homes, one in south Winnipeg and the second in northeast Winnipeg.
While a site has not been selected for either personal care home, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is working on a list of non-profit organizations who are interested in developing the facility.
The homes will add 200 beds to the province’s 5,700 beds, which are provided for seniors who can no longer live at home.
