Doc Walker (HANDOUT)
Manitoba country band Doc Walker is the next big act to perform at Assiniboine Park this summer.
The Portage la Prairie guys will take the stage at the Lyric Theatre this Friday at 8:30 p.m. for a free performance.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Doc Walker performing at Assiniboine Park,” said Trevor Clearwater, Assiniboine Park Conservancy’s director of park services. “This is definitely one of the highlights of the Red River Co-op Summer Entertainment Series this year and I know the band will draw a huge crowd out to the Park for the concert.”
The series continues with other acts at the Lyric Theatre, Jazz in the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden and the return of Movies in the Park on the first four Friday nights in August.
