The city will close the Arlington Overpass on Monday, July 15 for bridge repairs.
The closure is due to work being performed on the bridge including the deck overlay, structural steel repairs and maintenance. The overpass will close at 6 a.m. until Monday, September 9 at 6 a.m.
The east sidewalk will remain open during this period for pedestrian traffic.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternative routes in the area such as the McPhillips Street Underpass and the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge.
