Only a few days remain to enter your garden in Take Pride Winnipeg’s 16th annual Winnipeg in Bloom Contest.
The free contest is open to all Winnipeg residents who think their garden is deserving of recognition. Front yard properties are judged based on curb appeal, innovative features and property cleanliness.
“We want to celebrate their efforts and the fabulous curb appeal they add to city streets,” said Tom Ethans, executive director of Take Pride Winnipeg.
Judging categories include business and residential, community efforts, apartment blocks and condominiums.
The entry deadline is July 12, 2013. Judging will occur during the month of July, with the awards celebration held in August at Rainbow Stage. Prizes include gift cards and merchandise provided by The Home Depot. You can register your property at any Home Depot location in the city, online at TakePride.mb.ca or by calling Take Pride Winnipeg at (204) 956-7590.
