Karaoke lovers, warm up your vocal cords.
A bar in Steinbach is bringing Karaoke Nights and the World Series of Karaoke to Manitoba starting tonight.
The karaoke competition at The Edge Bar & Nightclub is open to anyone who wants to belt out a tune for a chance at winning a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Karaoke in November.
Starting in August, The Edge will play host to weekly karaoke competitions, building to the October 3 regional championship for the Vegas trip.
“This was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up,” said Josette Roch, co-owner of The Frantz Inn and The Edge. “Bringing this unique opportunity to Steinbach and the greater Manitoba community is incredible. We look forward to hearing Steinbach’s best and brightest on our stage.”
The competition opens on August 15, but singers can get a feel for the stage during a practice round tonight at 8:30 p.m.
