Colour Me Rad is today and Sunday at Red River Exhibition Park. (HANDOUT)
Colourful dust will be flung through the air today and Sunday as Colour Me Rad comes to Winnipeg.
The five-kilometre run that pelts participants with brightly-coloured corn starch will fill Red River Exhibition Park.
The colour bombs begin flying at 9 a.m. with waves of runners getting plastered with paint every five minutes.
“You’ll end up looking like a kindergarten art class gone wrong… but the art of running will make you feel oh so right,” according to Colour Me Rad’s website.
Runners start off with a clean white T-shirt, which is then pelted with blue, green, pink, purple, and yellow dye until they cross the finish line in a rainbow of colours.
A portion of proceeds raised from the weekend will go to support Camp Manitou.
