A Winnipeg man was arrested after police raided a home in the Centennial neighbourhood Thursday.
Police said they raided a home after an investigation by members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit and helped by the Technology Crimes Unit, in the 400 block of Bannatyne Avenue August 1 just before 8 a.m. There, they found numerous electronic items and police are currently searching their contents.
A man, 51, turned himself into police and was charged with importing, distributing, possessing and accessing child pornography.
He has been released on a promise to appear in court.
