Karlee Gendron and Anna Schappert of Winnipeg clinched the silver in the 18-kilometre two-person race after losing teammate Hanna Boersma in the biking relay, who is nursing an ongoing concussion.
Team Manitoba was also victorious in the swimming pool, as Karyl Clarete won bronze in the 400m freestyle, Samantha Currie won silver in special 0 100m backstroke, and Kelsey Wog won bronze in 200m breaststroke.
The Canada Summer Games are being held in Sherbrooke, Quebec from August 2 to 17.
