Organizers of the sixth annual Kick Butt Walk or Run for Colorectal Cancer are ramping up their efforts to recruit walkers for the upcoming fundraiser.
The 3K or 5K walk/run event will be held Saturday, September 7 at Kildonan Park, and support people and their families living with colorectal cancer by helping to educate the public about the disease. Funds will go to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation for genetic testing.
“The walk will be led by survivors who will once again kick off the event in bright yellow t-shirts,” said co-chair Sid Chapnick.
