A traffic stop near Rosenfeld, Manitoba turned up a quantity of marijuana on August 7.
Carman RCMP were on patrol on Highway 14 in the RM of Rhineland at the time when an eastbound vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed.
Upon stopping the vehicle, police found just over a kilogram of marijuana inside.
A 31-year-old Morris man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released on a promise to appear in Altona court on September 25.
