Fort Rouge Leisure Centre is undergoing maintenance work and temporary closures at the Osborne Street facility have been put in place.
The second floor will be closed to the public until Friday, November 1. The main floor men’s change room (in the weight room) will be inaccessible until Friday, August 16, along with the kitchen facility (November 1), arena corridor and washrooms (September 2) and multi-purpose room (August 24)
The required maintenance work includes upgrades to the facility’s lighting, as well as the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The work will also include painting and tiling work occurring in the corridors, while the facility is open to the public.
Work is scheduled to be completed by November.
