Car Thieves with Irish Accents Sought by RCMP

RCMP Crest LogoRCMP are looking for three men who are accused of stealing three rental vehicles in late July from Portage la Prairie.

RCMP say the vehicles were stolen by the trio who pass themselves off as discount pavers with Irish accents.

The vehicles stolen are described as a 2003 Grey Ford Taurus with licence plate BB5 440, a 1999 blue Volkswagen Passat with licence plate GSJ 109, and a 2005 Ford E350 white van with licence plate GSG 997. The vehicles stolen all have Manitoba licence plates.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts or on the vehicles stolen, are asked to call Portage la Prairie RCMP at (204) 857-4445. If approached by the males, please do not confront them, call the police.
