The Winnipeg Goldeyes have signed right-handed pitcher Jason Jarvis from the Sioux City Explorers in exchange for three players to be named later and cash considerations.
The 25-year-old posted two complete games, including a complete-game shutout in 18 starts with the Explorers. In 2012, the Concord, California native went 9-8 with a 4.14 ERA and six complete games, which included a pair of complete game shutouts.
The Fish also placed left-handed pitcher Edgar Osuna on the inactive list due to an elbow injury, retroactive to August 10.
