A&W Cruisin' for a Cause Day

The MS Society of Canada will benefit from Cruisin’ for a Cause Day today when A&W customers purchase a Teen Burger.

One dollar from every burger purchased nationwide will be donated to the MS Society, which helps fund multiple sclerosis research. Customers can also purchase counter cut-outs at $1, $2, and $5 price points to show their support.

Festivities are planned at the Polo Park A&W between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., where customers can also enter to win a seat of seats from the old Canad Inns Stadium.

A&W and its customers raised more than $3 million in the first four years, including $1.4 million during last year’s Cruisin’ for a Cause campaign. Funds raised will help the MS Society fund vital MS research and government advocacy, as well as financial support and wellness programs that empower Canadians affected by the disease.

For every person who RSVPs to the Cruisin’ for a Cause Facebook event or tweets using the hashtag #CruisinForACause, A&W will donate $1 (up to $20,000).
