An 86-year-old man died Thursday after being struck by a vehicle in the 400 block of Oakview Avenue.
Winnipeg police arrived on scene at about 2:45 p.m. to find the victim suffering from injuries. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he later died.
Police say the man’s 84-year-old wife was trying to park her car when she accidentally drove into the man.
The victim’s name isn’t being released.
