RCMP Crest LogoTwo people were taken to hospital Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash on the south Perimeter Highway and Waverley Street.

RCMP say a westbound car being driven by a 23-year-old woman went through a red light while proceeding south on Waverley and collided with an eastbound car.

The woman and her male passenger were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the eastbound car was not injured.

Alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor in the collision.
