A three-car collision claimed the life of two people on Saturday just south of Brunkild, Manitoba.
The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. in the RM of Macdonald when one of the vehicles that was travelling northbound on Highway 3 drifted into the southbound lane. RCMP say the car sideswiped another vehicle before colliding head-on with another.
A 22-year-old Winnipeg man driving the first car and a 48-year-old man from Hochfeld, Manitoba died in the crash.
Two adults and a young child were transported to hospital in critical condition.
The names of the deceased will not be released and police continue to investigate.
