Winnipeg police are trying to figure out what happened to a large wooden spiked steering wheel aboard the PaddleWheel Princess tour boat.

Police say sometime between August 22-23, the steering wheel was stolen from the docked vessel on Redwood Avenue when someone gained entry to the captain’s wheel house.

The unique item is typically used to steer large watercrafts.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the steering wheel is asked to contact police at (204) 986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
