Premier Greg Selinger is hosting a provincial-territorial meeting this week with federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for the Canadian francophonie.
The ministers are gathering in Winnipeg on Wednesday and Thursday for the 18th Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie. The theme of the conference is “Early childhood development: essential to the vitality of the French language and French-speaking cultures.”
Selinger will also co-chair the federal-provincial-territorial meeting with Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The two-day conference is taking place at Inn at The Forks.
