An event to bring together professional and non-professional dancers of all styles and backgrounds is set for later this month.
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet is presenting Dance Downtown on Sunday, September 29 from 1-4 p.m.
The RWB will showcase its own dancers and other professional dance companies at their studios (380 Graham Avenue), while the lobby of Manitoba Hydro Place across the street will include RWB School’s Recreational and Professional Division students to perform an exciting array of repertoire.
Other family-friendly entertainment will include “paint a dancer” workshops by Jaime Vargas and Art City, free dance demonstration classes for all ages, and a jazz fitness class.
Admission is free and no tickets are required.
