An annual display of strength and endurance will be put on in front of the University of Winnipeg today.

The Duckworth Great Rock Climb will have students scaling a giant 25-ton boulder on the front lawn of Wesley Hall. The yearly event is a fun way to get students together during the first week of classes in a friendly competition to out-climb each other.

Teams will also attempt to break the 9.8 second record set in 1979.

The challenge will run from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
