Seven Oaks General HospitalThe emergency department at Seven Oaks General Hospital is handling a smaller load of patients tonight due to work on an electrical panel.

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority says power will be disrupted to some treatment spaces, with ambulances being directed away from Seven Oaks for several hours overnight.

Anyone in the area requiring immediate treatment should still go to Seven Oaks.

Senior staff will be on site in the event a large influx of patients arrives overnight, but the electrical work is being performed during a time when patient visits are typically at their lowest.
