Three people were taken into police custody Monday after a drug raid in the 500 block of St Mary Avenue.
Winnipeg police entered a residence at around 6:30 p.m. and found three pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $6,000, packing materials, and $1,860 in cash.
A 33-year-old man and 28-year-old woman, both from Winnipeg, are facing drug trafficking charges and possessing proceeds of crime. A 31-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged with possessing a substance for the purpose of trafficking.
All three were released on a promise to appear.
