Manitoba MusicManitoba musicians are preparing for a busy fall season that will take them to Germany to showcase their talents.

Manitoba Music is heading across the ocean for its third event at Hamburg’s massive music festival, Reeperbahn, on September 25 with indie rockers Les Jupes, Mise en Scene, and Federal Lights.

But before the international gaunt, the organization is collaborating with SaskMusic and Alberta Music for a showcase at The Groove in Nashville, TN September 19.

Internationally-acclaimed Manitoba roots darling Ruth Moody (also of The Wailin’ Jennys), Saskatchewan’s J.J. Voss, and Alberta’s Joe Nolan will perform. The prairie triumvirate will also co-host a networking event with Nashville-based music publishers on September 17 featuring Manitoba country duo Keith and Renée, Alberta’s Pear, and Saskatchewan’s Codie Prevost.
