A cavalcade of semi trucks are fuelling up for the sixth annual World’s Largest Truck Convoy on Saturday.
An international project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, the trucks will make a loop around the Perimeter Highway beginning at the Oak Bluff Recreation Centre at 11 a.m.
Last year, the Manitoba convoy raised $65,000 for Special Olympics Manitoba with the help of 141 trucks.
Once the convoy has completed its run, the participants will be welcomed at the Oak Bluff Recreation Centre by Special Olympics Manitoba athletes, family, friends and law enforcement personnel for lunch and a presentation.
