Manitoba volleyball player Taylor Pischke won silver at the Mazatlan Beach Volleyball Tournament over the weekend.
The University of Manitoba Bison athlete competed during the sixth stop of the 2013 NORCECA Circuit with teammate Melissa Humana-Paredes of Toronto.
The Canadian duo made it to the gold medal match, losing to Mexicans Martha Revuelta and Bibi Candelas, 2-0 (23-21, 21-18).
Pischke and Humana-Paredes won the last tournament in this circuit in Cuba in late August.
