Users of the popular buying and selling website Kijiji will now have the option to securely purchase live-event tickets without the fear of getting scammed.
StubHub has partnered with Kijiji to provide access to its ticket catalog on the classified site. StubHub is known for its resale ticket service, which it provides through a secure marketplace to ward off any fraudsters and counterfeit tickets.
“We know Canadians love to use Kijiji because over 40 percent of the Canadian Internet population goes there at least once a month,” said Anthony Lipschitz of StubHub Canada. “Now Kijiji users who want to buy or sell tickets to tens of thousands of sports, concert, theatre and other live entertainment events will have all the benefits of StubHub’s unique online marketplace.”
Financial details of the agreement were not released.
