Korean Wons Stolen in Bank Robbery

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police are looking for a suspect after a bank was robbed in the Westwood area on Monday.

Police say a man entered a bank in the 3400 block of Portage Avenue armed with a weapon and confronted several employees. He demanded cash, including an amount of Korean Wons, and fled the area.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as Caucasian in his mid 20s, over six feet tall, 180-200 pounds with a thin build, dark eyes and dark eyebrows.
