Winnipeg households can expect to receive a copy of the State of the City report this week.

The report includes topics on infrastructure, active transportation, downtown revitalization, the challenges that the city is facing, and highlights recent achievements, according to Mayor Sam Katz‘s office.

“The City of Winnipeg is a growing, dynamic city. However, renewal of our city’s infrastructure, such as roads and bridges and recreation facilities, remains our greatest challenge,” Katz said. “My hope is that Winnipeggers find this report informative and gain more knowledge about some of the projects and initiatives taking place at the City and in the community. I look forward to receiving residents’ feedback on how we can continue to work together to build a better city.”

The report can also be found at Winnipeg.ca (PDF).
