RCMP Crest LogoA rash of break-ins and thefts in Stonewall have come to an end after a 17-year-old boy from the RM of St. Andrews was arrested on Tuesday.

Between September 15-16, RCMP say the teen is alleged to have broken into several garages, cars, and stolen four vehicles. Cash and electronics were also reportedly stolen.

On Tuesday, the suspect struck again in Stony Mountain while rummaging through a garage, but was caught by an alert citizen and detained until police arrived.

The teen has been released on a promise to appear in Stonewall court on December 16.
