Woman Dies After Hit-and-Run in Thompson

RCMP Crest LogoOne person is dead and another is clinging to life following a hit-and-run collision in Thompson on Thursday night.

Just before 10 p.m., a 52-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman were walking in front of R.D. Parker Collegiate when they were hit by a vehicle.

Both victims were taken to hospital, where the woman later died. The man remains in serious condition.

The vehicle did not remain at the scene and RCMP are looking for the driver.
