Five Youths Charged in St. Theresa Point Homicide

RCMP Crest LogoThe death of a man in St. Theresa Point last Thursday is now being treated as a homicide.

Wayne Bradford Wood, 28, was assaulted at around 12:15 a.m. and found seriously injured laying on a road in the community. He later died at the local nursing station.

Five local youths between the ages of 15 and 17 have been charged with Wood’s death. They remain in police custody facing second-degree murder charges.

All five will appear in Winnipeg court today.
