To mark the upcoming decade of dig! magazine, the jazz music publication is throwing its fourth annual Rent Party.
dig! will be celebrating its milestone on Thursday, November 7 at the Park Theatre with Quincy Davis and Promise. Entertainment will also showcase the jazz studies program at the University of Manitoba.
“Jazz is experiencing a renaissance here in Winnipeg,” said Steve Kirby, the magazine’s editor-in-chief. “And that’s partly because we have an interested and informed audience that really appreciates the music.”
Tickets are $30 at the door or $25 in advance by phone at (204) 989-4656, in-person at the Jazz Winnipeg office (007-100 Arthur St.) and the Park Theatre.
