Manitoba Liberal Party leadership candidates Rana Bokhari, Dougald Lamont, and Bob Axworthy.
Three candidates vying to lead the Manitoba Liberal Party will square off in a debate tonight.
It will be the first time Rana Bokhari, Dougald Lamont, and Bob Axworthy appear in a debate together. Bokhari and Lamont have previously traded jabs in past debates, but with Axworthy’s nomination into the race late last month, he only recently qualified to appear in an official capacity.
The three will responded to questions from both individuals and local interest groups at the West End Cultural Centre. Themes covered will include seniors, aboriginal health, municipalities, and immigration settlement.
The debate is open to the public and will run from 8-10 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.
The Manitoba Liberal Party will hold its leadership convention on October 26.
