Two residential developers are sharing their plans for a new condominium project in Winnipeg today when they address the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA Manitoba) member luncheon at the Fort Garry Hotel.
Karampaul Sandhu, president of Sandhu Developments and Lynne Dubienski of Monopoly Realty, will provide an overview on D Condo — a 24-storey condominium development at 390 Assiniboine Avenue. Sandhu and Dubienski will discuss the logistics and features of the project, as well as Sandhu Developments’ vision of what it will be bringing to the downtown.
“We’re looking forward to highlighting these terrific projects,” said Tom Thiessen, BOMA executive director. “BOMA recognizes that to fuel the growth of the downtown and for businesses to prosper, we need to achieve a critical mass of residents who work and live in the area. Combined, these types of projects are the catalyst for downtown renewal.”
Also scheduled to speak is Daniel Melendez of Your Next Place, who will share his company’s vision for transforming heritage buildings into modern day apartments, including its recent refurbishment of 370 Donald Street.
