The Winnipeg Humane Society is marking its 20th fundraising gala with a “Great Catsby” theme this year.
The Bow Wow Ball on Saturday, October 26 will be held at The Fairmont Winnipeg, and include a chance to win a trip on an eight-day African safari as part of silent auction prizes.
“The Winnipeg Humane Society receives over 8,500 animals each year,” said Bill McDonald, WHS CEO. “Fundraisers like the Bow Wow Ball are essential in providing help for these animals – from veterinary assistance, to behaviour training, to funding SNAP, our subsidized spay and neuter program.”
Guests are invited to dress in their best 1920s-inspired clothes and dance the night away to the tunes of the Danny Kramer Big Band. Individual tickets are $200, while corporate tables are $2,250. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 204-982-2041.
