Police Raid $1M Grow-Op on McAdam Avenue

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police have arrested two people in connection to a million-dollar marijuana grow-op.

Police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of McAdam Avenue on Thursday, where they found 913 marijuana plants valued at just over $1 million.

Officers also discovered six pounds of dry marijuana and grow-op equipment worth an estimated $24,000, along with $2,475 in cash.

A 48 -year-old woman and 50-year-old man are facing several drug-related offences. Both have been released on a promise to appear.
