An off-duty Winnipeg police has been charged in connection to a domestic incident.
RCMP were called to a residence just before midnight on Tuesday after being contacted by the spouse of the officer.
Police arrested a 37-year-old man and have charged him with one count of assault and two counts of uttering threats.
The victim did not require any medical treatment.
The name of the officer and where the alleged assault took place isn’t being released to protect the victim’s identity.
