The City of Winnipeg is warning motorists that Wilkes Avenue will be completely closed to traffic between Harstone Road and Fairmont Road beginning on Friday.
The closure is due to a CN Rail crossing reconstruction project and will be in effect from 6 p.m. Friday to Tuesday, November 12 at 7 a.m.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternative routes in the area to get to their destinations.
