Jets’ Skills Competition Returning December 18

Winnipeg Jets LogoThe second annual Winnipeg Jets Skills Competition is back for another year and will see players go head-to-head in five on-ice events.

The competition on Wednesday, December 18 will be held at MTS Centre at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Players will compete in the fastest skater contest, accuracy shooting challenge, puck control relay, breakaway relay and the hardest shot competition. The glass will be removed from the sides of the rink to give fans an up-close look at the players. There will also be prize giveaways throughout the night for all fans in attendance.

Proceeds from the competition will benefit the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation and the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.

A limited pre-sale for Winnipeg Jets season ticket holders and wait list members is on now and ends Friday at 10 p.m. CT.

Tickets will be available to the general public on Saturday, November 9 at 10 a.m. CT on WinnipegJets.com. Prices are $15 for the lower bowl and $10 for upper bowl.
