Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield will share his experiences from space on November 13 when he signs copies of his new book.
“An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth” will be showcased at McNally Robinson Booksellers in Grant Park.
Hadfield offers readers extraordinary stories from his life as an astronaut, and shows how to make the impossible a reality. He dominated social media during his time commanding the International Space Station with his stunning photographs on Twitter and commentary from the journey.
His music video, a zero-gravity version of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity,” received more than 10 million views in its first three days online.
The public book-signing begins at 7 p.m. Due to the anticipated crowd, posed photographs with Hadfield will not be permitted, but general photography while he signs is allowed.
