November 10, 2013 9:55 AM | News

United WayHave a gently used winter coat or other winter apparel you no longer need? The United Way of Winnipeg would love some of it.

The organization’s annual Koats for Kids campaign is in need of winter coats (clean with working zippers), snow pants and boots, hats, scarves and mittens.

Donations can be dropped off at any Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Station, Perth’s location or AMJ Campbell Van Lines office at 12–1333 Niakwa Road. If you have a large donation, call (204) 586-5628 or e-mail koats@UnitedWayWinnipeg.mb.ca.

The United Way’s focus is on children’s winter outerwear (including infants). Adult coats can be donated to the Salvation Army.
