A fire at a Headingley crematorium caused roughly $1 million in damage on Friday night.
Fire crews were called to the Wojick Crematorium on Wilkes Avenue just after 8 p.m.
RCMP say corpses found at the scene were the predeceased remains of bodies awaiting cremation.
The cause of the blaze isn’t suspicious and is deemed to be electrical in nature.
There were no reported injuries.
