Duck Bay Man Facing Attempted Murder Charges

RCMP Crest LogoA 43-year-old Duck Bay man is recovering in hospital after being shot multiple times on Sunday.

The shooting took place outside of the man’s home in Duck Bay, Manitoba, sending the victim to Dauphin Regional Health Centre for non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP located a suspect a few hours later and have charged him with attempted murder. Wilson Parenteau Jr., 24, of Duck Bay remains in custody and also faces a number of firearms-related offences.

Parenteau was scheduled to appear in Dauphin court today.
