‘Rookie Rocks’ Bonspiel Fundraising for Movember

Rookie RocksA fundraiser to support the Movember initiative will see bids placed on some of Manitoba’s top curlers.

The second annual Rookie Rocks Bonspiel event is November 23 at the Fort Garry Curling Club. Teams of all skill types can register for $100 or purchase a $10 ticket to the social event.

Top curlers such as Chelsea Carey, Mike McEwen and Jeff Stoughton will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Winners will play on a team with their curler during the ProAm on November 24.

All proceeds from the auction and bonspiel will be donated to Movember, which supports the fight against prostate cancer and men’s health initiatives.
