Sounds of Ukrainian-Canadian Christmas favourites will fill the Tec Voc Performing Arts Theatre on December 1.

“The Call of the Bells” will feature the Olexander Koshetz Choir as 60 voices sing a rich program of treasured Ukrainian and folk songs for the Christmas season.

“We are excited to present this concert and we invite everyone to come and experience the touching Ukrainian Christmas songs which have captivated people for generations,” said Scott Armstrong, Olexander Koshetz Choir president. “You can expect some of the Ukrainian Christmas favourites along with a list of extraordinary songs which may be new for some people.”

The concert begins at 2 p.m. at 1555 Wall Street. Tickets are $20 each at Oseredok Boutique (184 Alexander Avenue East), Svitoch Ukrainian Export and Import (621 Selkirk Avenue), Kalyna Book & Gift Shop (952 Main Street), or from choir members. Post-concert refreshments will be served.
