A 29-year-old man Winnipeg man is facing charges after a hit-and-run Friday evening on Pembina Highway at the South Perimeter.
The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. when a Hummer H2 collided with a van and then continued to strike a second van. The driver of the Hummer got out of the vehicle and assisted the occupants of the vans to the median. He then took off heading northbound on Pembina.
No one in either of the vans suffered any injuries.
RCMP say a female passenger in the Hummer was transported to hospital with injuries suffered prior to the crash. Both she and driver of the Hummer had been drinking prior to the accident.
Gregory Misner has been charged with dangerous operation of motor vehicle, impaired driving of a motor vehicle and assault.
