Two people were killed in a crash north of Petersfield, Manitoba on Monday afternoon.
RCMP say the two-vehicle collision happened on Highway 9 at around noon.
A 72-year-old man was travelling northbound when he lost control and collided with a southbound vehicle, driven by a 51-year-old man. Both were from the RM of St. Andrews.
An 82-year-old woman in the southbound vehicle and the man driving the northbound vehicle died in the crash. The 51-year-old was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The names of the deceased aren’t being released.
Alcohol is not considered a factor.
