Open Houses to Discuss Southwest Transit Corridor

The public will get the chance to provide input regarding the second stage of Winnipeg’s southwest transitway this week.

The first of several open houses get underway today to address overall transitway design, station sites, active transportation pathways and transit routes for stage 2 of the southwest transit corridor, extending from Jubilee Avenue to the University of Manitoba.

Open houses will be held at Canad Inns Fort Garry, 1824 Pembina Highway. Residents are invited to drop in at their convenience to learn more about the project, to provide input and speak with the project team who will be on hand to answer any questions.

Open houses:

  • Monday, November 18 — 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  • Monday, November 18 — 7 to 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 19 — 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 19 — 7 to 9 p.m.
